Egyptian singer Ruby finally had her first interview on Mazzika satellite music channel, in order to have everyone could understand why director Sherif Sabri was insisting on not letting her make any interviews or press releases.
During the interview Ruby surprised her fans with her shallowness. Millions of fans in the Arab world could see Ruby as a naïve reluctant and even closer to stupidity from the way she was answering the questions. The fans were not expecting their star to be cultured or well educated but at least to have a minimum level of common sense of the ability to answer easy and common questions.
Other critics say that Ruby meant to look as a naïve innocent girl to make her fans convinced that she does not mean to be seductive in her video clips. Ruby was asked about her revealing clothes and seductive moves in her video clips and her latest movie and she simply said that she does not mean to seduce any body and after being provoked by her host she said all the people wear revealing clothes why people concentrate on me?!
Ruby said that she has no goal behind her works she only present her songs and wait for the reaction from her fans. About a secret love story between her and director Sherif Sabri Ruby said naively Dr. Sherif is smarter than this!
Ruby was asked if there is anyone she loves in her life and she simply said "I don’t want to answer! The singer also stressed that her dancing in her videos are not intentional but rather due to the mere fact that when the music begins, her body begins to moves unconsciously.
Sharif finally gave his approval to Mazikka to host Ruby in her first public interview. The interview was recorded in Sharif's office in the international trade center and will be divided into parts.
Sabri and business manager of Ruby, announced that the singer’s film “Sabi’ Warakat Kotshineh” (Seven Playing Cards) will be screened in Dubai and Beirut uncensored. Sharif revealed that the film will be shown with all the seventeen scenes that were cut in Egypt by the censorship committee.
Sharif stressed that screening the film uncut is the only way it can be seen because all the scenes that were deleted in Egypt made the film loose its essential meaning. The producer added that he had previously agreed to the alterations made by the Egyptian Censorship in order not to rate it for adults only.
Sabri had criticized all critics who wrote that his latest movie was not successful and did not achieve important profits, considering this as part of the attack waged on him and Ruby. Sherif had previously allowed the stars of his movies to talk to the media after being prohibited for 12 months while filming the movie. –Albawaba.com
