Sam Smith poked fun of that very passionate smooch with his boyfriend Brandon Flynn during a radio interview on Friday.
The 25-year-old singer was talking about the time the pair were caught locking lips outside a chip shop in London's Soho last month, with his sister present.
He told BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw: 'It was a joke - as a joke we were attacking each other.
'We were just waiting outside the shop while my sister got cigarettes. I was just joking.
'I was literally licking his eyeballs. It’s horrendous [the photos]. I’m going to have to do something crazy to top it.'
And talking about Disney film, The Little Mermaid, he said: 'He [Brandon, 24,] looks like Ursula sucking the voice out of Ariel. It’s so embarrassing.’
He and Brandon were first pictured kissing one another in New York in October.
Health food fanatic Sam was clearly allowing himself a cheat day from his diet as he tucked into some chips on the cold night.
Before that, Sam and Brandon were pictured together leaving a TGI Fridays restaurant after performing at the Grammys at Madison Square Gardens.
The stars also first sparked romance speculation when they were seen liking each other’s social media posts.
Sam posted an 'x' in comments underneath a social media posting by Brandon last year, in which he voiced support for the LGBTQ community.
The hitmaker was previously linked to model Jay Camilleri in 2016 after a brief relationship with model Jonathan Zeizel in 2014.
Sam's interview comes as he was announced for the BBC Music’s The Biggest Weekend in Swansea line-up.
