Local singer and dancer Harshita Dahiya was shot dead by unknown assailants on Tuesday night. The assailants attacked her when she was leaving from a programme in her car in Chamrara village of Haryana's Panipat.
The two unidentified youths forced the three other passengers out of the car and started firing. After pumping four bullets into her, the assailants escaped from the spot. The body of the deceased singer has been sent to the mortuary at general hospital.
