The famous Kuwaiti broadcaster Halima Poland denied the news released in “Al Riyadh” Saudi newspaper that she has joined a satellite channel called “Sahara,” owned by the Saudi poet Aseer Al Riyadh.
According to the London daily Elaph, Halima said, “I have never heard of this channel, I am surprised the news is being spread widely in the press.”
Halima also said that she does intend to join another Arab satellite channel after final negotiations between her and the channel’s manager.
