A court issued a sentence in absentia to actress Hala Fhaker for four and a half years in jail on the charges of fraud and issuing checks without a balance. The lawsuit came from a business man from whom she allegedly bought a villa in the city of Rehab.
The Middle East News agency (MENA) confirmed that the accuser slapped her with six different lawsuits, accusing the actress of fraud.
According to Al Nashra Website, Fhaker responded, "This is not true at all! My lawyer confirmed that all of the allegations are false and besides, I do not own anything in the city of Rehab. Thank God that I have a good reputation, in and out of the artistic community. Something like this would never come from me. I would never want to harm my friends, family or fans. "
