After the contract between Egyptian singer Hakim and the mobile company “Mobinil” (Nile Mobile) to distribute his latest album “Ma Tigi Tigi” (Why Don’t You Come Here) for free on their company lines and minutes card, Hakim found out that the company was selling his album for three Egyptian pounds only.
Hakims last album was sold for 8 Egyptian Pounds a copy. This incident will have a negative affect on Hakim’s singing career and on the profit gained from the release of the current album and others to come.
According to the London daily Elaph, Hakim is getting ready to do commercials for “Mobinil”. He was supposed to work on filming the commercial at Egypt Studio; however, he didn’t like the decorations of the studio. He refused to continue working until the company changed the decor.
