Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi will head off to Kuwait to inaugurate the grand opening of the ‘Woman and Beauty’ exhibition to be held on December 11 and 12.

The singer will then travel to Egypt to hold two concerts on New Years Eve.

After the New Year, Haifa will hold a grand performance in Dubai alongside Lebanese singers Nancy Ajram and Fadel Shaker, and UAE singer Hussein Al Jasmi.

Rumors have it there is a possibility Haifa will leave her production company ‘Rotana’ and move over to ‘Alam El Phan Production,’ owned by Muhsin Jaber.

This move comes at a time when the singer’s three-year contract has ended and she expressed no interest in renewing it for a second term.

According to the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat, the possibility of Haifa’s move has increased, especially after Muhsin Jabr agreed to record all of the songs that she sang on her reality television program “Al Wadi” (The Ranch) and feature them on an album, which Rotana refused to do.

Haifa stressed that she is very disappointed with Rotana, particularly with their promotion of her last album “Bidi Eish” (I Want to Live).

On a different note, the international soft drink company Pepsi has chosen Haifa as their newest star to market their products. The company intends to launch a new add campaign featuring Haifa, and will begin filming the singer’s first commercials at the start of the New Year.
