In a usual press release, Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi revealed that it will not be out of the ordinary for her to suddenly wear the Islamic headdress Hijab.
The singer stressed that she may be inspired to do so at any time, and the matter is all in God's hands.
According to the London based daily, Al Quds Al Arabi, Haifa stated that she does not understand the big fuss about her making such a step, simply because she presents songs and music videos that have some form of seduction in them.
She added that every stage in a person's life is different, in the sense that at this point nothing stands in the way of her career, whereas down the line, she may decide to settle down and form a family and shift her entire focus.
Haifa recently held a charity concert in Lebanon and donated all the proceeds to the orphanage Oaksilia. A large crowd of Lebanon’s elite attended the event.
Haifa shocked everyone present by announcing that she will adopt the children’s case at the orphanage and will do all she can to reunite most of them with their biological mothers and ensure they live a well respected life away from poverty.
It is expected that Haifa will be holding a press conference with the organizers of the orphanage to announce that the proceeds of her concert will go to help children and their families. Haifa also announced that she will begin a huge campaign that aims at helping a large number of mothers care for their children to avoid placing them in orphanages.
