The production company ‘Egypt for Cinema,’ owned by the producer Kamel Abu Ali, announced that the new film “Dokan Shahateh” (Shahteh’s Supermarket) will be screened on 6 May.
According to the London daily Elaph, the new movie will kick-off the summer film season and the company hopes that the “Dokan Shahteh” will have a strong and successful start.
The film is the famous Lebanese artist Haifa Wahbe’s first appearance in an Egyptian movie.
The story of the new film is about a local supermarket.
The film is directed by Khaled Yousif and also stars Mahmoud Hamidah, Ghada Abed Al Razaq and Amr Abed Al Khalil.
