The Soma Bay Music Festival in Hurghada this April will feature world-famous bands Gipsy Kings and The Dire Straits Experience, in addition to two other bands.
Flamenco/ pop musicians Gipsy Kings have been performing since 1978.
Paco Baliardo will lead the band members on stage on 14 April, according to Engy Belal, the head of PR and communications at Soma Bay.
Gipsy Kings are expected to perform hits such as Bamboleo, Djobi Djoba, Volare, and Un Amor, among others.
The festival, which runs from 14 April to 17 April, will also host the original band members of The Dire Straits Experience on 16 April.
The Dire Straits Experience, a cover band founded by original Dire Straits members saxophonist Chris White and drummer Chris Whitten, previously performed at Soma Bay in 2015.
They are expected to play hits Sultans of Swing, Money for Nothing, Brothers in Arms, Walk of Life, and Romeo and Juliet when they perform live this year.
Soma Bay Music Festival will also include other performances such as the Egyptian Coldplay tribute band Strawberry Swing, and Romanian X Factor winners FreeStay on 15 April.
