Prominent Egyptian actress Ghada Abd Al Razak stated that she made it a point to watch a large number of television dramas aired during the recent Ramadan season. Ghada said that she was disappointed with a number of the dramas and was surprised that the quality of television production has gone downhill.
Ghada added that the only drama that caught her attention and she felt was worth watching is “Adam”, which starred Egyptian singer Tamer Husni. Ghada said that the drama was a very powerful one and its production was of the highest standards. Ghada noted that Tamer’s performance had shocked her and she is very impressed with his acting capabilities.
According to the internet website Al Sonara, Ghada said that she remembers when Tamer was placed on the blacklist of singers to be boycotted due to his position during the Egyptian January 25 Revolution and the singer had at the time decided to not complete the drama. Ghada at the time advised Tamer to continue his drama and that anyone who was against him could not hurt him and the drama is his way of proving he is a talented individual that can overcome any obstacle that comes his way.
On a different note, Ghada is currently preoccupied with filming the remaining scenes of her new film “Riklam” with director Ali Rajab.
The film costars a number of female actresses and revolves around four women from different social statuses, whose paths cross one another and become the best of friends.
