Lady of the night she is not, it was discovered too late for the shaken actress Ghada Adel when she had a melt-down during a morbid tomb-nighttime scene. Egyptian actress Ghada Adel broke down in hysterical tears mid-way through filming cemetery scenes for her upcoming television drama “Sir Alani” (Open Secret).

The heebie-jeebies

What compounded the distress and anxiety levels for Ghada was the fact that filming took place in the late hours of the night causing the spooked actress to feel scared to death.

Director Ghada Saleem had specifically chosen the haunting hours of the night to film the scenes in keeping with the morbid mood and events depicted in the drama. The director was not prepared for the actress’s graveyard upset and hysterical fit, as she along with leading actor Eyad Nassar did all they could to calm her down.

Ghada keeps it funer-real

Ghada Adel shed some light on her darkest hour, admitting that being at the cemetery reminded her of the death of her father and she could not control her well of emotions which errupted in the tearful fit.

In the show, Ghada Adel plays the role of a college professor. Actors Eyad Nassar, Maya Nasri, Shuwaikar, Sami Al Adel, Ahmad Fahmi and Sabri Fawaz star alongside.
