After weeks of offscreen drama between lawyers and the cast and crew of popular legal show 'Ma Sibq Al Israr' (With Prior Insistency), the dispute is set to hit a real-life courtroom.
Many lawyers were upset when the show - which they say snubbs their career - hit TV screens earlier this year. Now, they have decided to take action the best way they know how - in the court!
A case has been put forward to take the show off the air by lawyer Samir Sabri, and is set to be heard on 3 November.
This is bad news for Ghada Abdel Raziq who plays a starring role in the show. The Egyptian actress has led the defence in the argument, telling the media that whilst her own character might be corrupt this is not a reflection of the profession as a whole.
But, the star will now be forced to take these pleas of innocence to the Judge.
