ALBAWABA - George Kordahi, Lebanese TV presenter and former host of the Arabic version of 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?' came out for the first time and refuted his death rumors spreading online.
Allegations have been circulating on social media that Kordahi, former Minister of Information of Lebanon, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Lebanon amid exchanged attacks between Israel and Hezbollah.
The TV presenter posted on his Instagram to assure his fans that he is okay and fine denying baseless claims that he was fatally targeted in an Israeli attack.
George Kordahi said: "Greetings, I am George Kordahi. A rumor was spread about my death and the false news was put in the context of a video report about me, my positions and my professional history. I did not want to respond to this rumor, but many friends and admirers called to inquire and check up on me, and I found it my duty to reassure all my fans and friends in Lebanon and the Arab world."
He continued: "This news is baseless and this is not the first time they have spread such a rumor about me. In fact, until now I cannot understand people who wish death for others as if death will forget them one day and will not come to take them. Thank you."
Days ago, another rumor that George Kordahi has converted to Islam spread online and the former minister also came out and rejected the allegations.
