Amal Alamuddin and her Lebanese mama can't cook, according to her new hubby Hollywood actor George Clooney!
In an interview with Al Quds Al Arabi, Clooney admitted that his human rights lawyer wife is a "terrible" cook, but an expert at making restaurant reservations!
That explains frequently dining out at the hottest eating joints in New York, LA, London and Milan then!
Although the Lebanese are famous for their sharp skills in the kitchen, Clooney, who now calls himself a connoisseur of Lebanese cuisine, jokingly said that Amal must have inherited her "skill for booking a table" from his mother-in-law, Laha Magazine reported.
But the 54-year-old heartthrob was still as complimentary of his wife as ever, "I have the best life partner anyone could ask for. It's a huge blessing that I never thought I would ever have.
"She’s smarter than me, the only way we resolve anything is by arm wrestling. That is my only chance of winning anything with her because if it’s an intellectual battle, I would lose."
Having been introduced to Amal's culture after marrying her in September 2014, George said that he finds certain aspects of it "kind of funny," especially the number of relatives who turned up to their post-nuptial party.
"I think that every Lebanese person alive attended the party! There were hundreds of them. They're such a big family and I feel like one of them now; it's such a nice feeling," George said, according to Laha Magazine.
The newlyweds have made an agreement not to spend more than one week apart, which is certainly unique for a celebrity couple!
"Our deal is that we can’t be more than a week apart. So far that’s worked out pretty well," George told news.com.au.
