Bassem Yakhour shared a hilarious incident he faced at dinnertime in Lebanon this week.
The Syrian actor was dining in one of Beirut's fancy French restaurants, when he ordered a meal known as "Poor Man's Food."
Bassem explained that the dish is made out of leftover dough, that, instead of it being thrown away, is used to make a whole new meal by adding vanilla and other ingredients, then baking it in the oven for 20 minutes.
A "food for the poor" it might have been, but its price tag was anything but!
"When the waiter brought me the bill, I understood why this dish was named Poor Man's Food; it's because once you eat (pay) for it, you become poor hahaha," Bassem wrote on Instagram.
