Is Egyptian actress Dalia al Buhairi about to get slammed for mocking ISIS in the same way that Saudi comedian actor Nasser al Qasabi did?
The artist made fun of the terrorist group in an episode of her comedy series "Zawga Mafroosa Geddan" (A Furious Wife), where ISIS members are seen chopping off her head for criticising men's behaviors towards their wives.
Last week, Al Qasabi's ISIS-ridiculing episode from his Ramadan comedy show "Selfie" went viral overnight, while the Arabic hashtag "سيلفي #" (#selfie) trended for days throughout the Middle East.
National and International media caught wind of the story and prestigious news outlets like the BBC were keen to report on Al Qasabi's brave move to criticise the jihadist group.
Having been branded an "apostate" by a Saudi Imam - who has since apologised for his statement, Al Qasabi responded to critics by noting that "As Saudi citizens, we're entitled to our own opinions, because we love our country and care about it. It's any Saudi's right to address certain issues.
