Feyza Civelek, Cranberry Sorbet star, linked to drugs case

ALBAWABA - Turkish star of the Cranberry Sorbet series,  Feyza Civelek, has been trending on social media in Turkey over the past few days after news leaked revealed that she was linked to a legal drugs case.

One of the Turkish pages reported details of an incident that occurred a long time ago confirming that the name of the Turkish artist was mentioned in a legal drug case, which some described as the other side of the artist.

According to local media outlets, it turns out that Feyza Civelek, who plays the role of Nilay in the Turkish series Cranberry Sorbet, which is currently being broadcasted and is generating a lot of controversy, and through which she has achieved a lot of success, is involved in a drug case.

The news of the Turkish star's link to drug case was leaked by official authorities, stating that on Oct. 29, the police had arrested a person driving a motorcycle, and during his search, a quantity of contraband "drugs" was found. 

After conducting investigations, it became clear that he was heading to meet the Turkish artist in order to sell them. The drugs were worth 6,000 Turkish liras (about $186.20).

Many conversations were monitored between them that confirmed the news, including a question by the Turkish artist: "Did you bring the material?"

At the time, the dealer was arrested, however, no charges were pointed out against the Turkish artist, as there was no conviction in cases of drug use only.
