The organizers of the Rabat Festival had asked Fairuz to follow Lebanon’s classical chanteuse Magida Roumi, who last year was one of the festival’s absolute highlights.
Sources close to the Arab diva told thisiscyberia.com that she "did not even discuss" financial matters with the Moroccan festival. They say that she refused because of her already tight schedule this summer.
