The latest rumor on the Fadel Shaker retirement into religion is that the former singin’ celebrity had demanded ‘Rotana’ to remove all his albums from the store shelves. In exchange, he would compensate them for any losses. Others claimed that the radical Islamist had called on everyone to stop even listening music already purchased!
Facebook and Twitter are full comments and accusations about what head-shaking move Shaker has done next.
Finally, Fadel’s son Mohammad has opened up to clear the air from false rumors, according to Sayidaty.net. The Dubai residing descent denied that his father made the statements about music being pulled. Mohammad stressed that his father wasn’t tied to any of the websites making these claims and that any statement not made by him personally or a member of his family is a fabricated lie.
In an exclusive letter Mohammad sent to Sayidaty.net, he said, "Greeting to all, I am Mohammad Fadel Shaker and write this letter to clarify a few points regarding my father among which are issues related to remarks said to be made by my father on Facebook and Twitter. All the news posted does not reflect the views of my father in any way. I personally apologize for any person who was affected by the fabricated statements made on the fake accounts."
