In one of the recording studios in Dubai, Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker began recording the songs for his upcoming album, which he is cooperating with prominent Iraqi singer Majed Al Muhandis.
Majed has presented Fadel with an Iraqi song to include in the work, marking the first time Fadel sings in the Iraqi dialect.
According to the London based Elaph, the song is titled "Boosni Wi Salihni" (Kiss and Forgive Me). Fadel has expressed his hope that his fans will accept him singing in a new style, and has dedicated the song to the Iraqi people.
Majed has stated that he is honored with the new cooperation with Fadel and believes the latter has performed the song to the highest standards, and had mastered the pronunciation of the Iraqi dialect.
Fadel is also working with composer Jan Saliba for the song "Insa Ili Rah" (Forget the Past), which will be included in the album, marking their second cooperation together.
The new album will feature twelve new songs written and composed by some of the brightest names in the music industry.
Fadel had released the single "Im'athar Fieh" (Affecting Me) two months ago, and is scheduled to record a duet with Lebanese singer Yara for the song "Khudni Ma'aak" (Take Me With You).
