Since former Lebanese heartthrob, Fadel Shaker, decided to retire from his life of sin and take the path of religion, things have got a lot more complicated for him.
In September last year, his new Salafi friends started posting all over the star's Facebook wall, leaving fans upset and confused. Now execs at music giant, Rotana, have decided that Fadel's 'retirement' breaches his contract and he will have to pay up.
A source close to the company said that although the music bigwigs were apparently happy that their money-making singer had decided to dedicate his life to God, that didn't mean that they wouldn't chase him down over the contractual agreement.
But Fadel, who decided to retire permanently in March last year, isn't quite as friendly about his former bosses. The former songster said in a recent TV interview that Rotana hadn't treated him fairly and that he didn't owe them any money at all.
