Lebanese singer Ewan has redone the filming for the song “Ashofak” (I See you), which is written and produced by Saudi poet Sarah Al Hajery. The clip was done under the direction of Lebanese director May Ellias.
The first clip for the song was filmed by controversial singer/director Jad Shuwair, but the poet Sarah was not satisfied with the outcome of the clip and requested of Ewan to filmed it all over but with a different director.
Ewan stated that Sarah wanted the music video to reflect the meaning of the song through a story that would touch the hearts of those who watched it. The story of the clip talks about a couple who fail at having a long distance relationship and as a result the female ends up leaving the man she loves for another. Three different locations were chosen to film the clip
Ewan denied rumors that the clip was redone due to disputes between him and Jad and stressed that the two are good friends.
