ALBAWABA - Today we will mention everything you need to know about Akira Toriyama and Toei Animation's upcoming Dragon Ball DAIMA anime from staff, including production and voice actors to its release date and story.
Dragon Ball DAIMA is an upcoming anime that tells a new story of Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, and more who suddenly appear younger than usual, similar to GT as Goku changes back into a kid after the end of the original series.
The original creator of the iconic franchise, Akira Toriyama will be responsible for the story and character designs as nobody does it better than him!
According to Anime News Network, the term "DAIMA" doesn't mean anything but could be interpreted as "Evil" in Japanese Kanji.

Shueisha's monthly V Jump magazine took to its official outlets to announce all the upcoming staff for the anime on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2023. Additionally, It confirmed that the legendary Masako Nozawa will be returning to voice Son Goku!
The anime will hit streaming platforms in Fall 2024 but we still don't have a specific release date for it. The newest entry to the iconic franchise was first revealed in October 2023 at New York Comic Con with Toriyama being "deeply involved beyond his usual capacity."
A list of all the staff for the upcoming Dragon Ball DAIMA:
- Yoshitaka Yashima and Aya Komaki as animation directors (Dragon Ball Super, Digimon franchise, One Piece).
- Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru will be adapting Toriyama's character design work into animation.
- Akira Toriyama on story and character design.
