Sponsored by Emirates, the entertainment event showcased performances by the biggest stars in the Arab world aboard a swanky cruise ship in the Mediterranean and the Adriatic seas for seven nights from 9 to 15 July, 2016.
The sixth edition of The Stars on Board event is the sixth of its kind and comprised of live shows by Arab Idols uch as Najwa Karam, Kadim Al Sahir, Nancy Ajram, Ragheb Alameh, Walid Toufic, Nawal El Zoghbi, Melhem Zein, Wael Jassar, Ziad Bourji and many others. Other celebrities present on the entertainment cruise included Youssef and Nicole, Nesreen Tafesh, Amal Al Awadi, Elissar, Bonita Saade, DJ Tony White and to name but few.
The airline also presented Emirates Holidays packages to attractive destinations such as Mauritius and Sri Lanka. Emirates also auctioned off signed Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain jerseys.
The glamourous, six-night-long entertainment exprience set sail from Venice on 9 July, and visited tourist destinations in the beautiful region connection Italy to Greece. Stops included Corfu, Greece; Kotor, Montenegro; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Koper, Slovenia; before returning to Venice on 15 July.
The entertainment cruise idea was initiated jointly by Emirates and MBC Group with the aim to gather some the Arab world's biggest stars and their fans on a week-long cruise. The unique cruise packages include Economy class airfare Dubai-Venice- Dubai, one night accommodation in Venice, transfers, a room on the six nights cruise with full board on the Norwegian Jade ship, as well as port charges inclusive of all applicable taxes and fuel surcharge.
