Is it just us or do you feel things when a certain celebrity (from the West, to be specific) crosses with our culture. Like when Kim Kardashian celebrated her birthday by singing “Sana Helwa Ya Gameel,” or when Arrow introduced characters that spoke Arabic — we here feel proud, in some ways, when these aforementioned scenarios take place.

Another one of those scenarios happened when one of the most popular TV hosts of all time, Ellen DeGeneres, reposted a video of a curious octopus. The eight-legged creature appeared be basking in the sunlight below the glistening waters of the Red Sea in Egypt.

With nearly 50 million followers on her Instagram account, DeGeneres’ video got more than five million views in just two days!

WE SAID THIS: Egypt’s marine life is truly bewitching.
