During the show, Elissa revealed that her mother is of Syrian origin and she strongly condemns the brutality imposed on protesters calling for the resignation of the government and President Bashar Al Asad. She added that she prays to God that the bloodshed and killing of innocent people demanding their basic human rights would come to an immediate end.
