Lebanese singer Elissa recently wrote a letter to Egyptian singer Amr Diab to congratulate him on winning a major ‘Music Award.’
“You are a great music artist and you deserve an award even greater than the ‘Music Award,’ and I wish you all the best,” wrote Elissa.
Rumors claimed that Elissa was initially angry when she heard that Amr had received the ‘Music Award’ for best singer for 2007.
Elissa’s letter was an attempt to end these rumors. “I wanted to congratulate Amr from the bottom of my heart,” said Elissa.
According to the website Yallabina.com, Elissa is filming a video clip for her song “Akher Al Shita” (The End of Winter). The clip will be released in conjunction with her new album.
