Prominent Egyptian actress Elham Shahin is in the process of preparing for her upcoming television drama "Ahlam La Tanam" (Sleepless Dreams), which is scheduled to be aired during the coming holy month of Ramadan.
According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, it was revealed that Elham has received a wage of up to 3 million Egyptian pounds for her role in the film, out of the entire budget for the work which amounts to 7.5 million Egyptian pounds. The drama will be directed by Majdi Abu Ameereh.
Recently, Elham became furious with host of the Lebanese program "Khaleek Bil Bait" (Stay at Home), Zahi Wahbi for igniting the flames between her and actor Nadia Al Jundi.
Zahi prompted Nadia to make insulting remarks toward Elham while appearing as guest on his show.
Elham stressed that Zahi had put her in a very uncomfortable position by brining up old problems between her and Nadia. Their major dispute was over their leading roles in "Al Raghbeh" (Desire) two years ago and the award Nadia received for her role.
Elham announced to the press that Nadia attacked her just to attract attention.
