Lebanese singer Elaine Khalaf revealed that she wishes to die at a young age so she does not have to see herself an old helpless woman. She stressed that she cannot imagine herself to be an old woman unable to care for herself.
Elaine also revealed that she was recently hit with a severe case of depression and was seeing a psychiatrist. She noted that her bad luck in love was behind her depression and the fact that she makes the wrong choices in men.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Elaine said she would never marry a man that would interfere in her singing career. She added that the man she marries must accept who she is and support her all the way.
The singer admitted that her love relationships had affected her life and her career in a tremendous way and now she realizes that she must focus on her singing and make a strong comeback to the scenes.
