Egyptian singer Ehab Tawfiq revealed that he feels uncomfortable and embarrassed to watch the new trend of seductive songs that have taken over most of the music channels and says the best way to fight this phenomenon is by shutting TV sets off.

Ehab says that culture and knowledge are the right basis for success and not revealing body parts. Ehab added that his academic study and getting a PHD in eastern music enabled him to take the right choices in his songs.

In his opinion, Ehab says that the new short songs that depend on dancing tunes enabled people who are not talented to begin a singing career easily, but in reality despite this singers who are truly talented remain in the scenes while newcomers disappear.

According to the London based daily, Al Quds Al Arabi, Ehab noted that he tries not shock his fans with new styles and when he wants to introduce a new image, he studies it carefully before introducing it to his fans.

Despite his academic study, Ehab did not compose his own songs because he says that he likes to concentrate on one thing, which is singing than distorting himself on many fields. Ehab had many acting offers but he is very careful in choosing what to do, but he can confirm that he is going to do one movie by the end of this year with a great production.

Rumors circled that there is a dispute between Ehab and Ragheb Alamah but Ehab denied these news. The whole story was that he agreed with one of the composers to sing a song entitled [Ismak Eih] but he was busy with his latest album [Huma Kilmetein]. Once Ragheb discovered that he had taken the song which is originally for Ehab, he backed out and the matter was resolved.

Ehab's latest album [Ismak Eih] includes 13 songs in which he cooperated with many poets like Mustafa Mursi, Ahmad Shata and many others. –Albawaba.com
