Egyptian TV Film Asks: When Are We Born?

Shahadet Milad (Birth Certificate) is a new Egyptian TV feature tackling the real conception of human birth. Does the moment take place at delivery, or through events inscribed in a person's memory? 

The film, scripted by Fida Al Gandawili, tells the story of a man plagued with loss of memory, which he restores during dramatic, police and social events, according to the daily Al Ahram. 

Director Tayseer Abboud, along with featured stars Kamal Abu Rayyah, Nahla Salameh, Magdi Kamel, Adel Hashem and Bahgat Adli, began shooting the first scenes inside a hospital in the Cairo district of Misr Al Gadidah.  

The feature's remaining scenes will be shot in the Pyramid area, Sakkara, Mansouriyyah, Nasr City and Abbasiyyah.  

In addition, some scenes will be shot at the Cairo Voice Co. for Audiovisuals, the producers – Albawaba.com
