An American film production company has announced plans to begin shooting a new TV series “Khareef Al Shat” (Fall Bay) in Egypt. The theme of the new series is taken from the popular American TV series “Bay Watch”, and will be shot in Ghardaka, reported the Egyptian based daily Al Messa.

It was revealed the actual cast of “Bay Watch” will co-star in the series, in addition to the company undergoing tests for potential Egyptian actors to take part in it as well. The wardrobe for the show will be designed by the same company that did the cloths for the original “Bay Watch”, which is a collection of hot and seductive beachwear, since most of the scenes will be taking place at the seashore.

The new filming site for the series was chosen in order to place the area of the Red Sea on the maps of people worldwide in an attempt to attract tourism to Egypt and the countries surrounding it. The show will be aired worldwide, advertising the beautiful beaches and surroundings of the Middle East.

American director of the series Douglas Nash is currently visiting Cairo to undergo all the necessary preparations and has already chose the Gouna as the area where he will choose all potential Egyptians wanting to take part in the series.

The show will be about a group of lifeguards, usually young women and men, who work at the bays of the Red Sea who undergo several adventures and experiences with the people who come to the beach for a vacation.

It was noted that at the time when the Egyptian censorship is placing strict rules and regulations for most TV series and movies with regards with themes of scripts of even wardrobes, it is overlooking all the issues related with the new series by the American director. No conditions have been placed even though the dress of the actors in the new series is against all ethical and religious standards in Egypt and most of the Middle East. It was noted that the censorship has basically given the Americans complete freedom in the new show that will be the Egyptian version for “Bay Watch”. –Albawaba.com
