Charlie's Angels star Drew Barrymore has made up with her estranged mom, Jaid, reported Mr. Showbiz.
The online entertainment news sources said that the main force in the making up session, came from none other than rocker/model/famous mom Bebe Buell, who happens to be the mommy of Liv Tyler.
Drew and fiancé Tom Green were spotted at Jerry's restaurant on Prince Street in SoHo, New York, having a quiet Saturday lunch with Buell.
According to sources, Buell pulled up a chair and proceeded to have a lengthy conversation with Drew about her mom and their terrible situation.
"Drew wanted to know how Bebe and Liv managed to have such a good relationship," my source tells me. "Bebe explained that it took love and patience."
Buell, whose book Rebel Heart, which comes out next summer, chronicles her experiences as Liv's manager as well as the rest of her famous life, advised Drew to call her mother and settle their public feuding once and for all.
Buell's good work seems to have paid off. On Christmas Eve, Drew, Jaid, and Tom were all spotted on a flight to Ottawa, Canada to visit Green's family. A paparazzi photographer snapped the threesome recently when they met publicly. Buell, who's away for the holidays, could not be reached.
If ever a family were given to melodrama, it would be the Barrymores. Drew, who has an old half-brother named John Barrymore III, is the daughter of John Drew Barrymore, a ne'er-do well-actor who hasn't worked since the mid-1970s according to the Internet Movie Database (he's 68 years old).
More famously, Drew is the granddaughter of John Barrymore, the legendary theater actor and brother of Oscar winners Lionel Barrymore, who played Mr. Potter in It's A Wonderful Life, and Ethel Barrymore. John Barrymore Sr.'s maternal grandfather was another famous stage actor, John Drew. – Albawaba.com.
