Egypt's police have arrested a man for selling pornographic videotapes of the Egyptian belly dancer Dina and her ex-husband Hussam Abu El Fatih at a local newsstand in the neighborhood of Muhandiseen in Cairo-Egypt. Word reached Cairo's police department that copies of the videotapes have spread all over the country and were sold at every corner reported the Jordanian based daily, Al Rai.
It was apparent that the newsstand man, Ramadan, was behind the spread of the tapes by working with a video store that helped him make so many copies and selling them for as cheap as 100 Egyptian pounds a piece.
Police officers seized the video store along with over a hundred and fifty copies of Dina's sex films. Owner of the stores and Ramadan are currently under questioning as to how they received the videos of the dancer.
Earlier last month, Dina has decided to accompany Egyptian singers Hisham Abbas and Ali Hajjar to Saudi Arabia to complete the fifth pillar of Islam Hajj. She decided that Haj is her only option to runaway from all the controversial and scandalous issues she is currently involved in.
Dina filed a lawsuit against ex-husband Hussam Abu Al Fateh for violating her rights while she was married to him and making pornography films of her without her knowledge. Dina stressed that she intends to take Hussam to court for the fact that it is against the law for a man to film his wife in such an indecent circumstance.
Dina said she is sure to win the case against him for the fact that she was married to him. When asked if she has a copy of the marriage contract, Dina said no and that the two had tore the contract when they divorced.
In a phone interview the daily asked the dancer how she plans to file a complaint if she has no written evidence of her secret marriage to Hussam. Dina replied, “Hussam admitted that we were married secretly at the court, and I will use that to win my case against him”. With regards to the videotape Dina admitted to its existence and also said she had watched it and was shocked to see the contents of it saying that he had no right to film her in such a state and later release the tape to the public.
Dina is hoping that Hussam will confess to their secret marriage in front of the Judge. She added that she would clear her name once the acknowledgment of her marriage to him is made public. Dina believes that his statements are her key to putting the scandal behind her and going on with her life.
Late last year rumors circulated that Dina had left Cairo-Egypt and ran-off to hide away in Paris-France after her involvement in pornographic videotapes was revealed. A number of videotapes were found in a businessman’s, Hussam Abu Al Fateh, apartment containing obscene and provocative scenes of her. –Albawaba.com
