Having become a trend for Lebanese artists, cosmetic surgery – facelifts, liposuctions, lip augmentations, nose jobs, and other alterations – has apparently spread to reach Egyptian artists as well.

The Egyptian belly dancer Dina, after her brief hiatus, has returned to her fans with, it seems, not only a new dancing suit, but also a new look.

Dina recently had a noticeable nose change, getting as professionals in the field would call it, an "aristocratic" nose: she made her first appearance on a satellite television show soon to be aired, according to Al-Gomhoriyah newspaper.

Dina, it is reminded, made her announcement to return to belly dancing after stopping it, on New Year's Eve. For the first time after the release of the scandalous intimate videos of her with her husband (businessman Husam Abul-Fattoo7) that led her to stop belly dancing, Dina reappeared in a belling dancing suit, and danced for five consecutive hours in more than one hotel, becoming the 'number one' belly dancer to perform on New Year's Eve.

For the first time after her retract from resigning dancing, Dina held unforgettable performances on New Year’s Eve in four different hotels. Each hotel witnessed large crowds of people more than was expected causing the ballrooms to be overcrowded and extra chairs to be brought in. it seemed that people were so anxious to see Dina in action that even bigger crowds were outside hotels wanting to get a small glance of the dancer.

Her first appearance was in Al Salam Concord Hotel where she performed eight different dances. The fans were very excited to see their beloved star and they reacted by going up on stage and began dancing with her. Dina had called on a number of bodyguards to protect her from anxious fans, who were following her around from one hotel to the other.

After dancing for an hour and a half Dina left to the Nile Hilton where she danced for the same time duration. Then she performed in Sameer Amise where she danced for three hours in two different halls. The total hours she danced was more than five, a sign that her come back is a strong one insisting on proving she is one of the most prominent belly dancers in the Arab world.

The management of the hotels failed to ban photography of the belly dancer, because her fans were so eager to see their star back to dancing again. It was noticed that there were feminine fans for Dina among those were famous actress and singer Simone who came after midnight to Sameer Amise Hotel to see Dina perform her creative dances.

Dina had announced that she will be performing in different places on New Year's Eve, wanting to welcome the New Year in her own special way, in way wanting to make up for lost time. –Albawaba.com
