Syrian actress Dina Haroun will star in the third episode of the television drama series “Nisaa Min Al Badyah” (Women of The Desert), aired on Abu Dhabi channel.
According to the London daily Elaph, the series also stars Khaled Al Qish, Sahar Fawzi and Nadirah Imran. The story was written by Asma Abu Sadih and directed by Samer Barqawi.
Dina will play the role of a young Bedouin woman named ‘Al Hanouf’ that lives with her father ‘Nabhan,’ her stepmother ‘Rabhah,’ and ugly stepsister ‘Muznah.’
Al Hanouf’s stepmother searches for a groom for her, while trying to cause trouble between Al Hanouf and her father. Sadly, Al Hanouf’s father becomes abusive to satisfy his wife.
Al Hanouf’s father is ordered by the leader of the tribe to leave because he disobeys orders. They move to another tribe and the son of the tribe leader asks to marry Al Hanouf.
