Two members of the press were questioned on Wednesday over an allegedly libelous article last year involving Lebanese singers Nawal Zoghbi and Diana Haddad, reported Daily Star.

Beirut chief investigating magistrate Hatem Madi interrogated Aouni Kaaki, the responsible director of Nadine magazine, and journalist Nidal Ahmadieh.

Zoghbi had filed a suit against Haddad, who described Zoghbi’s voice as “out of key” in an interview by Ahmadieh and published in Nadine.

Madi is to set another date to interrogate Haddad, who is currently abroad – Albawaba.com
