Lebanese singer Diana Haddad was voted the most glamorous star for 2007 in an on-line vote conducted by one of the Arab magazines. 26.6% of the voters cast their ballot for Diana. The judging committee gave Diana a score of 74/100, and her final score was 50.3.
When Diana won an award for ‘best singer’ in 2007 in February, she wore a silver dress designed by Aqel Fakih.
According to the London daily Elaph, Diana is in her last trimester of her pregnancy. She is still recording songs for her new album, so she can have it ready for release early next year.
Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoghbi, who was voted most glamorous star in 2006, came in second place for 2007. Nawal received 76/100 from the judges, but only received 13% of the vote, giving her a score of 44.5. Nawal donned an exquisite black dress at the Miss Lebanon Pageant.
Lebanese singer Najwa Karam came in third place scoring 42.5 for the dress she wore at the Jerash Festival in Jordan. Forth place went to Lebanese singer Ellisa with a score of 41.5 for her silver dress that she wore in her video clip “Low Te’rafo” (Only If You Know). Lastly, fifth place went to the Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram. She scored 40.2 for the dress she wore at the Jerash Festival.
Moroccan singer Samira Sa’ed came in 6th, Tunisian singer Latifa came in 7th, Egyptian singer Shireen Abed Al Wahab 8th, Lebanese singer Amal Hijazi 9th, and Lebanese singer Madine Matar came in 10th.
