ALBAWABA - On Sunday, the Iraqi media claimed that transgender man Abdullah Abdul Amir, popularly referred to as "Jojo Prostitute," had died in a Baghdad jail.

Social networking sites and other outlets widely shared information about the death of well-known mutant "Jojo," who received a 15-year jail term in a Ministry of Justice prison.

Unnamed security sources informed the media that the convert, known as "Jojo Prostitute," had passed away inside the Seventh Justice Prison. However, there was disagreement over the cause of death; some claimed he passed away inexplicably, while others claimed he died of a heart attack.

Following his 2022 arrest, the mutant "Jojo prostitute" received a 15-year jail term for prostitution and blackmailing well-known bloggers. The Iraqi court authorities imprisoned "Jojo Prostitute" in January of the same year.

A judicial source told “Baghdad Today” that “the judicial authority issued a ruling against “Jojo Prostitute” to five years in prison,” noting that “there are other rulings that may be issued in the coming days regarding many lawsuits.”

The security forces arrested “Jojo Prostitute” in central Baghdad in the middle of this year after a quarrel and blackmailing of the owner of a restaurant in the capital.

It is noteworthy that the convict is an Iraqi who holds American citizenship and is transgender, and he has many complaints regarding electronic blackmail of Iraqi artists and women.
