The past year had witnessed a general recession in the world of Egyptian singing, and there was a significant retreat in the performance of many stars that used to have a very wide base of fans in the Arab world like Amr Diab, Mohammed Munir, Mohammed Fuad, and many others.

According to the UAE based daily, Al Bayan, a new road map was made by some famous critics, which includes the recipe of success for this year. Prominent composer Mohammed Nouh says that this situation is normal because people are always looking for the new and Amr Diab and Mohammed Fouad did not offer anything new so they resorted to the fast songs, which did not face the success they expected.

Nowadays most of the successful songs are based on unclear words or weird rhythms leading to a witnessing of success for many songs that were not even accepted in society some years ago. This led big names like Amr Diab and Mustafa Amar and Mohammed Munir look for eternity in their works and not a fake and temporary success.

Composer Hilmi Baker advised all big stars to go back to big concerts and not to depend on video clips if they wanted to have long term success.

He also advised singers to leave composing to professionals and not to depend on themselves to make their own songs.

Hassan Abu Alsaoud advised singers to have their own path and career and to imitate any successful song or tune because what suits Amr Diab does not suit Mustafa Amar and what suits Mohammed Munir does not suit Ehab Tawfiq. He also added that they should look for real art and not for just for wealth.

Poet Awad Badawi sees that the deteriorating situation in the singing world is because of the extensive repetition of tunes and styles. These days we see prominent Egyptian singers try to imitate the young generation of Lebanese singers, which does not suit them and fans won't accept it.

Composer Salah Arram sees that the situation won't get back to normal until good producers come back to the artistic scene. Now the situation is all about money and all producers are traders who do not have any artistic taste this is the main problem we are facing now a days. –Albawaba.com
