Cindy Crawford and Amal Clooney seem to have formed a solid friendship based on their mutual interestingness, reports San Francisco Gate.
The two grew close after Amal married silver fox George Clooney last year, and began going on double dates with Cindy and her husband Rande Gerber.
Cindy, who is known for her 30 year super-modelling career, decided to remind us of her fame by publishing exciting stories of her modelling experiences, and special photographs from her personal archive.
"I want to honor and acknowledge the girl I once was while embracing the woman I am today, and I even look forward to the wise woman I hope I will become in future decades," she says on her official website.
Amal, whose name means hope back home in Lebanon, is not only famous for being Clooney's most recent wife, but also for her long and successful career in law and human rights protection. She has written several books, and speaks fluent English, Arabic, and French.
So what do two such interesting people talk about?
“One of the things I love about Amal is that she’s not only interesting – she’s very interesting to talk to – but she’s also interested in your world as well,” said Cindy at her book launch for 'Becoming.' "She can talk to my kids about their thing, or she'll talk to me about my book or my business."
According to SF Gate, Cindy insists that they have more important things to talk about than even fashion!
“Amal is an incredibly fashionable person, so she doesn’t need my advice,” Cindy said. “I guess we talk about fashion in a way, but it’s not like we pore over magazines together. It’s more like, she’ll ask me, ‘Who is your favorite photographer.’ She’s interested in my life, just like I’m interested in her life.”
