Algerian King of Rai music Cheb Khaled is in the bad books of the Algerian state of Wahran, who have decided to boycott him following one of his most recent “unacceptable” actions (in their opinion anyway)!
Khaled was recently granted the Moroccan citizenship, and he accepted it! This was very insulting to the citizens of his hometown Wahran, and have therefore demanded to ban him from performing any concerts in their state.
The “Algerian” singer's fans resented him for accepting the foreign citizenship and considered it a shameful act on his part.
