ALBAWABA - Rumor has it that Canadian singer Celine Dion is making a comeback at the Paris Olympics after being spotted in France. 

This all comes after her long and painful battle with a rare neurological condition called Stiff Person Syndrome since 2022 resulting in all her upcoming shows. Moreover, she also shared videos of herself in pain to raise awareness about the devastating condition.

Speculations swarmed social media and news outlets alike after users said that Celine Dion might make a comeback with rumors saying that she might perform at the 2024 Paris Olympics. 

Amélie Oudéa who is France's Sports Minister told a French outlet that a performance "is within the realm of possibility," as reported by the BBC. 

During her new documentary, 'I Am: Celine Dion', she opened up about her serious condition while crying and stating how much she misses performing for her audience.

"I’m working hard every day, but I have to admit, it’s been a struggle. I miss it so much. The people, I miss them."

French President Emmanuel Macron said, "It would be fantastic news" if Dion performed at the French Olympics opening ceremony.

Her rumored performance at the 2024 Olympics will be her first since announcing her condition in 2022. 

This will not be the first time Dion performed at the Olympics since she performed at the renowned sports event in 1996, held in Atlanta, United States.
