In this corner: Former Mr. Lebanon, Dancing with the Stars contestant and actor Wissam Hanna. In the other: Lebanese singer and pop icon Amal Hijazi.

The two are currently fighting it out and trading insults after Wissam branded Amal’s latest song as a "big failure," during his weekly celebrity talk show "Tele Stars,” which he presents with co-host Caren Salama.

According to Al Jaras magazine, Amal addressed Wissam's comments while she was a guest on "Al Muttaham" (The Accused), hosted by presenters Raja Nasr Al Din and Rudolf Hilal. Amal said that Wissam's harsh criticism came after she branded his television drama "Ishrat Abeed Sighar" a flop.

Wissam allegedly dissed Amal with a foul-mouthed rant. On his Twitter page, without referring directly to her, he tweeted, "I failed? I am a star you loser. The title of loser speaks for itself. It is the fault of our program to have given you any significance. It's good that I do not watch you so that I am not sick to my stomach. Worthless artist of the low class. Get lost." Wow, he may be beautiful on the outside, but whatever happened to your inner beauty, Wissam?

No stranger to controversy, Amal has reportedly had public spats with Lebanese superstars Nancy Ajram and Nawal Al Zoghbi in the past. Amal said, "If I'm such a loser then they shouldn't talk about me and should just leave me alone."

Ding, ding, what's next in round two?
