According to the London daily Elaph, the famous Lebanese artist Carole Samaha has been nominated for a 2008 MTV Europe Music Award.
The award ceremony will take place at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on November 6.
Carole Samaha was nominated by her fans via the internet website (http://ema.mtva.com), competing with other Arab artists from various Arab countries under the category of ‘MTV Arabia New Act.’
Fans will vote via the website to determine winners.
