Lebanese signer Carol Samaha recently held a grand performance in Qatar under the patronage of her Royal Highness Sheikha Mozzah Bint Nasser Al Missned. The event is the first annual fundraising gala dinner and all proceeds went directly to the children of Saint Jude hospital, which specializes in treating children with cancer.
Carol sang a large collection of her most popular songs, starting the performance off with the song “Shu Hilwah Al Hayah” (Life is beautiful), which is her special dedication to the children at the hospital.
The song was released three years ago as a single, and Carol announced that she will be filming it in the form of a music video under the direction of Terry Furn and intends on having children from Saint Jude’s hospital take part in it.
Carol, who has taken it on her to be active in helping children with cancer, holds concerts for Saint Jude Hospital throughout the year and at every performance donates the proceeds to helping the children.
