The Lebanese artist Fares Karam was awarded by the Canadian city of Toronto, the first time an for an Arab artist received such an award for success among the Arab community there.
Art producer Yousif Harb and the concert planner Fadi Abu Asi were present at the award ceremony.
According to the London daily Elaph, on the other hand Fares continued his American tour in Las Vegas where he performed at the Las Vegas Paris Casino. Fares will return to Lebanon at the beginning of April.
