ALBAWABA - Can Yaman, who is now enjoying a stellar acting career in Italy, attended the premiere of Francis Ford Coppola's Megalopolis film this evening.

After finishing the first season of the series "Sandokan," in which he starred alongside international stars, Can Yaman is presently working on strengthening his Spanish in preparation for his upcoming endeavors. The accomplished actor, who takes 5 hours of language lessons every day, attended the premiere of Francis Ford Coppola's film "Megalopolis" in Rome this evening.

The gorgeous actor, who was among the premiere's VIP guests, sparked a lot of curiosity from the press. Can Yaman will also be introducing the series "El Turco" during the Mipcom Fair in Cannes on October 21.

His work in the series "Daydreamer" propelled him to sudden popularity. Yaman, who co-starred with Demet Özdemir as Can Divit, achieved worldwide fame despite being from Turkey. Shortly after, his life became a topic of fascination, encompassing his transfer to Italy, the breakdown of his relationship with journalist Diletta, and more. This culminated in the deletion of all his social media sites, which attracted over 10 million followers.

Yaman's resolve to stay away from the limelight began five years ago, when he established "Can Yaman for Children." The organization seeks to provide children and young people the chance to create a prosperous future for themselves.

While it is unclear why Yaman abruptly deleted his social media accounts, many assume that it was due to the tremendous pressure he received from fans and followers who constantly harassed him online.

Yaman is now in Italy filming "Sandokan," a remake of Emilio Salgari's historical fictitious pirate series. Lux Vide, a European production firm, is developing the revival.

The story follows the titular pirate on his escapades around Southeast Asia. Numerous personalities from the mid-nineteenth century join him on the island of Borneo as he travels. The series started filming early this year in Formello, a city on the outskirts of Rome.

The cast of "Sandokan" includes Ed Westwick, Alessandro Preziosi, Alanah Bloor, and John Hannah. The narrative takes place during the beginning of Sandokan's quest, before he has accomplished many of his famous achievements.

"We are very proud to be bringing the iconic 'Sandokan' saga back to Italian homes," Lux Vide CEO Luca Bernabei said. "Over the past few years, we have worked to create an international project that would enhance Emilio Salgari's IP in a contemporary way."
