Cairo Opera House management announced it is postponing its annual concerts, scheduled to take place on 12 and 13 December, due to security reasons.

They have yet to set a new date.

The concert would have been performed by the Cairo Opera Orchestra, conducted by Nayer Nagui, along with Cairo Opera Company soloists and the Cairo Celebration Choir.

Audiences who have already purchased tickets can request reimbursement at the opera's ticketing office.
